TU offers incredible value among nation’s Top 100 law schools

The University of Tulsa College of Law is ranked among the nation’s best law schools for 2018 by U.S. News & World Report. TU is listed among the Top 100 law schools in the nation for the sixth consecutive year and currently ranks No. 82, according to the publication’s March 14 announcement.

The rating is based on several factors including quality, reputation, placement success and student selectivity.

“U.S. News & World Report’s continued recognition of TU Law as a top 100 law school is a reflection of our outstanding programs, our talented student body and the commitment to excellence that our faculty and staff embrace,” said College of Law Dean Lyn Entzeroth.

TU Law, which rose four spots from the previous year’s ranking, is an outstanding value – particularly among private law schools. Beginning in 2017, tuition to all incoming Juris Doctor students was set at $24,600 a year – less than many state schools. Last fall, TU was named the No. 1 Best Value Private Law School by PreLaw Magazine.

TU Law students also are given countless opportunities for community engagement projects and externships that give alumni an advantage when seeking full-time employment. The school was judged No. 1 in the nation for graduate employment in firms size 2-100 by National Jurist in 2015.
