The JD admissions committee reviews all applications, personal statements, and letters of recommendation submitted to The University of Tulsa College of Law. The Office of Admissions will contact qualified applicants to schedule a campus visit and in-person interviews. During the interviews, applicants meet with the admissions committee and may meet with select members of the faculty or the Dean. Interviews are required before admittance into the College of Law.
The College of Law begins receiving applications on August fist for spring, summer and fall start terms. Upon receipt of completed applications, application files are formally reviewed. The Office of Admissions will contact qualified applicants to schedule an interview. Note that not all applicants will be selected to interview. For those who are selected to interview, this means that they have advanced to phase two of the review process. During the interview, applicants meet with a faculty member or Dean to discuss their application and aspiration to pursue law school. In most cases, final decisions are shared within 24 to 72 hours after completion of the interview.
