JD/MA in Anthropology

This curriculum consists of 78 credit hours of law courses including all required courses established by TU College of Law, 24 credit hours (including a thesis) in the graduate anthropology program as approved by the graduate adviser in anthropology, and development of field research skills through the anthropology department’s research program.

Students must consult with the JD/MA in Anthropology joint degree committee in selecting electives and must take all courses recommended by the committee.

This program eliminates 16 credit hours of coursework that would be required if the programs in law and anthropology were taken separately.
