Jeri Fleming joined the Water Quality Division of the Oklahoma Conservation Commission in April 2013 as an Environmental Programs Manager. Her primary responsibilities include working with Blue Thumb, the education and volunteer coordination arm of the Division, facilitating the update Oklahoma’s Nonpoint Source Management Plan, and project management and contract oversight on wetland reserve and stream restoration projects. She previously worked for Oklahoma State University as a program manager where she led the public involvement effort for Oklahoma’s Comprehensive Water Plan and oversaw construction of 11 stream restoration projects. She earned her Bachelor’s in Mass Communication from Northeastern State University and in 2006 and her Juris Doctor from The University of Tulsa College of Law. She is past chairman of the Environmental Law Section of the Oklahoma Bar Association and serves on the board of Lake McMurtry Friends, Inc.
