Mari M. Ramsey has been in-house counsel for The Williams Companies, Inc. since 1991 and is currently senior counsel, focusing primarily on legal work for the natural gas liquids and petrochemical subsidiaries of the company. Such legal work includes transactional work, as well as federal and state regulatory work. She has managed numerous proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“FERC”) and federal appellate courts, including before the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. Over her twenty-five years as in-house counsel, she has also provided legal advice to the natural gas transmission subsidiaries,the natural gas midstream subsidiaries, and the human resources department. She has presented at continuing legal education programs and represented the company before government agencies and state legislators. Mari is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Energy Bar Association.
Community service activities have included: current board member for Domestic Violence Intervention Services of Tulsa, pro bono legal work through Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, Inc., volunteering for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma, volunteering for Jenks Public Schools, and volunteering for Lindsey House (through the Williams Companies, Legal Department project),
