First-year law students volunteer

First year law students at The University of Tulsa College of Law spent a day performing volunteer service in the community prior to the start of classes in August.

Nonprofits that received the support of the incoming class of students included the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma.

“Volunteering and pro bono work is a part of everyday life for attorneys, and we like to start our new students on the path for giving back to the community,” said TU Law third-year (3L) student, Jazmin Zaragosa.
